Protip, white people: just because I accept you complimenting my hair doesn’t mean that you have my consent to touch it
Blue Ivy reacting to seeing herself on the screen during Beyonce’s VMA performance.
In response to the GoFundMe Campaign for Darren Wilson, people are asking GoFundMe to close the account due to the fact that it incites hate and obviously violates their terms and conditions
The donors and the comments attached to the campaign are sick and simply racist. They asking for the “Killing of Niggers”, “purging the savages” and to support a “fellow White” individual that has the right to murder Black people.
Pass this around. Report the Darren Wilson page as for the violation
I will add their contact info as soon as I find it.
They started a new campaign as well: https://www.gofundme.com/OfficerWilsonFundraiser
Please report it!
And sign the PETITION to enact laws to protect us from police brutality and misconduct.

In 2005, 19-year old army private LaVena Johnson, was the first woman from Missouri to die in Iraq, according to the Army, of suicide. Only after her family insisted on seeing photographs taken at the scene of her death did they realize she was found in her tent with a gunshot wound to the head, a broken nose, black eye, loose teeth, acid burns on her genitals (there is speculation that this was done to cover up possible sexual assault), and a trail of blood leading away from her tent. The army ruled that her death was a SUICIDE. Her father, a doctor who has worked with military personnel for more than 20 years, believes his daughter was raped and murdered. A documentary, “LaVena Johnson The Silent Truth,” their attempts to uncover the truth was released in 2010. There is a website with updates, LaVena Johnson and a petition asking Senator Claire McCaskill to investigate her death. As Cilla McCain, founder of Military Families for Justice asks, would this case by taken seriously if LaVena Johnson were not a black woman? Her parents have established a scholarship fund in their daughter’s name. Donations can be made to The LaVena L. Johnson College Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 117, Florissant, MO 63032

but, talk about racism/oppression and they need all the facts.
Thank you neonnubian for your active post keeping me and others abreast.
"Shot in the head last night by police"
Keep in mind that the police were vehemently stating that it was not them who shot her and it was a drive by of a group of Black guys. They were probably praying that this girl died so no one would find out the truth. Well guess what? We have another testimony against the Ferguson police in court for blatantly lying like how they are doing now with not telling the truth about Michael Brown.
Y’all I was friends with Mya at HU, she is a peaceful person and would never do anything to deserve a bullet to the head. She’s slowly recovering, please keep her in your thoughts and prayers
This is an urgent call to action. Please read, share and “like to dislike” this important post.
How would you feel if you were a 13 year old girl starting to menstruate - and had only two pairs of underpants?
That is exactly what appears to be happening on Nauru. And we won’t stand for it. It’s time to send tampons to Scott Morrison again, to register our outrage.
Our tampon protest started seven months ago, when reports came from refugee advocates that women asylum were being ritually humiliated as they were forced by needed to ask guards for sanitary products that were doled out one or two at a time. These reports came on top of a woman being separated from her baby, doctors reporting asylum seekers being denied proper medical treatment, a high number of miscarriages and a sick pregnant women asking for medical assistance being told to “lower her expectations”.
Two months ago we paused this successful campaign, as we believed the inhumane treatment of women in refugee camps had largely stopped. Today, however, we learn this doesn’t seem to be the case.
Among other human rights abuses of asylum seekers reported by Save the Children advocates on Nauru was this report: ”A 13-year-old girl who started menstruating on Nauru but had only two pairs of underwear ‘She felt shame because … each day she had to wash her underwear and hang them to dry in front of her father which was not culturally appropriate.’ “
This demeaning of refugee women by our Government must stop. We’re re-activating this campaign. Please send Scott Morrison a sanitary product – just one unused one. Or, you could send clean underwear, if you prefer. Your delivery to his office symbolises the humiliation that occurs in secret for women in our detention centres here and off shore.
Let’s flood him with our disapproval. It’s up to you, Destroyers. This protest has attracted international attention and also sends a message to refugee women in detention that they’re not ignored.

As well as denying these people their basic needs, I’d like to remind people that
IT IS NOT LEGAL OR OKAY TO DETAIN A CHILD OR TEENAGER
Life for these children and teens is hard enough, some grow up in the detention centres. I have met a few of them and they are the most lovely people you will ever meet.
Although they haven’t committed any crimes, they are locked up indefinitely for “processing” and treated worse than Australian criminals who actually have committed crimes.
The government has already tried to cover up reports of mental health problems among asylum seekers being held in detention centres. The UN have also told Australia that what their doing is not allowed.
I also read a report a few months ago that women in detention centres are rationed tampons and pads. When they want more, they have to line up for as long as 2 hours to ask a male detention officer for more, that request can be denied. That is complete bullshit.
Let Scott Morrison know that he’s a piece of shit and things need to change.
